Sourcing Constraints

All dev-like profiles are synthesized strictly from public sources only. We use official APIs, published repositories, technical blogs, and conference talks. We extract principles and workflow shapes rather than reproducing prose.

Provenance

Every generated profile is versioned at generation. Receipts are hard-linked for every claim: no source, no claim.

Consent Tiers

Every profile exists under one of four consent tiers, listed in descending order of strength:

• self-published: The subject ships its own culture artifacts and workflow rules.
• stated: The target has explicitly stated or consented to their workflows being used in this manner.
• observed: Workflows observed from public repositories or technical outputs.
• social: Insights gleaned from public social and technical communications.

Privacy Floor

The stated tier acts as a strict floor for people. We do not generate profiles for individual developers unless they meet or exceed this consent threshold.

Profile Requests & Control

You can request new organization or framework profiles via the profile request issue template.

If you or your organization has been profiled and you wish to have it removed, please use the opt-out path. We commit to a 48-hour response promise to honor your opt-out. Read the full opt-out policy source for more details.
